The Comittee recognizes-that Florida Power Corporation has continued to support the efforts of Dr. Odua in the development of a model which can be used to determine the best system to be employed at Crystal River. Fron the outset we have stated that this effort would not play a large part in any decision making -;.!52 process. There can be no doubt that a substantial contributien to-6
~ scientific research has been made through this effort; however, a certain
'J' degree.of uncertainty also surrounds the approach and methodology. For 7.nis reason I would not expect the presentation made in the NovecDer report using this methodology to be relied upon to any great extent in the pro-ceedings and decisions that lie ahead and suggest that this model not be used as justification of any conclusions you may reach in the sumary.
