Reactor Safaty REVIEli STATUS:
Continuing The Reactor Safety Branch has completed preliminary review of the over-pressura citigating systea on opt ating 31:1 reactors and has found that the critar4 cstablished by the NRC ara not fully tet.
The NRC critaria are satisfied fcr all the transients postulated with the exception of an inadvertent safcty inJcction with failure of the single 1cw set point PCRV which results in villation Of Appendix G pressurc-tamperaturo limits prior to the ti=e hban operatw action is allowed. Although a pressuri::er bubble is availabis as b.c.kup, operator acticn is required prior to 10 ainutes for this limiting nass addition transient.
