Philadelphia Electric Company Docket Nos. 50T@9 Lime:ick Generating Station License Nos. NPF-39, NPF-85 By letter dated May 10, 1993, from Mr. V. Cwietniewicz, a violation of NRC requirements was identified. In accordance with the " General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions," 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C (1993), the violation is listed below:

Commission within 30 days of a permanent reassignment from the position for which the licensee has certified the need for a licensed operator or senior operator under 55.31(a)(3) of this chapter.

Contrary to the above, two senior reactor licensed individuals had their status changes in December 1992, so as to no longer need an NRC senior operator's license and the NRC was not notified until May 10, 1993.

This is a Severity Level V Violation (Supplement I).

Pursuant to the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201, Philadelphia Electric Company is hereby recuired to submit a written statement or explanation to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ATTN: Document Control Desk, Washington, D.C. 20555 with a copy to the Regional Administrator, Region I, and a copy to the NRC Resident Inspector at the facility that is the subject of this Notice, within 30 days of the date of the letter transmitting this l
