SUBJECT:
WOLF CREEK GENERATING STATION EMERGENCY PLAN, REVISION 35 We have received your letter dated April 8,1993, which transmitted Revision 35 to the Wolf Creek Generating Station Radiological Emergency Response Plan.
The plan revision was submitted pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(q).
Included in the revision are several new emergency action levels added to incorporate criteria for the loss of ability to maintain cold shutdown, the loss of functions needed for hot shutdown, and core uncovery.
These changes were the subject of a telephone discussion between Dr. D. Blair Spitzberg and Mr. Mark Satorius of our staff, and Mr. Craig Swartzendruber and other members of your staff held on April 21, 1993.
We have reviewed the changes to the plan and determined that they are acceptable and do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency planning for Wolf Creek Generating Station.
