REVIEW 0F OYSTER CREEK 14R OUTAGE IGSCC REACTOR RECIRCULATION DATA REGARDING WELD NG-D-18 (TAC N0. M85711) l By letter dated March 17, 1993, GPU Nuclear Corporation (GPUN) provided information as requested in the staff's letter of February 5,1993, regarding Reactor Recirculation Weld.NG-D-18.
Specifically, the staff requested a detailed crack growth calculation for Weld NG-D-18 circumferential indication i
without considering the benefit of stress improvement. Also requested for this weld was documentation that there was no change in flaw size of an axial indication which was previously identified after stress improvement.
The staff has reviewed your evaluation regarding the above matters, and has determined that it is acceptable. Based on this, we consider this issue resolved.
