ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENTS (TAC NOS. M85196 AND M85197)
The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.144 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-39 and Amendment No.133 to facility Operating License No.
DPR-48 for the Zion Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and 2, respectively.
The amendments are in response to your application dated November 5, 1992.
i The amendments revise the Technical Specifications by deleting the requirements to perform additional surveillance testing when the associated redundant components and/or subsystems have been found to be inoperable.
A copy of the Safety Evaluation is also enclosed.
The Notice of Issuance will be included in the Commission's biweekly Federal Reaister notice.
