As a result of the inspection conducted on November 30, 1992 to December 4, 1992 and in accordance with the " General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions," 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C, (1992) (Enforcement Policy) the following violation was identified:
Technical specification 6.11 requires adherence to radiation protection procedures.
Station administrative procedure 5.10, " Respiratory Protection and Airborne Contamination Guides," requires that another air sample be taken if more than 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> have elapsed since the last air sampling.
Contrary to the above, on February 14, 1992, a radiation protection technician i
and a station engineer entered the recirculation pump room and steam drum area without taking an air sample. The most recent air sampling of these areas had occurred two days earlier.

The inspection report showed that steps had been taken to correct the identified violation and to prevent recurrence. Consequently, no reply to the violation is required and we have no further questions regarding this matter.
