Limerick Generating Station Spray Pond Fish and Algae Control Permit Application
Dear Mr. Hersch:
Enclosed is a completed permit application to use Nusyn-Noxfish fRotenone). EPA Registration No.
432550 in the Limerick Generating Station emergency spray pond to control Gsh population. We continue to routinely inspect the spray pond to verify that a fish population has not been re-established. In the event that a population becomes established. it is our desire to immediately implement an cradication in order to maintain the spray pond in proper working condition for emergency cooling. Please note that the information provided is consistent with the infonnation from the previous pennit (Pennit No. SE46-10-92).
A copy of this letter (including any attachments or enclosures) is being provided to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Cummission (USNRC) in accordance with the Limerick Generating Station. Units I and 2.
Environmental Protection Phm. Section 3.2. which stipulates that USNRC shall receive a copy of any proposed changes to the NPDES pennit at the same time that the pennitting agency is notiDed.
