This refers to the special electrical distribution system followup inspection

conducted by Messrs. Z. Falevits, R, Mendez and R. Vinter of this office on

February 22 through 26, 1993. This followup inspection included a review of

activities authorized for your Quad Cities Nuclear Power Station, Units 1 and

'

2.

We discussed our inspection findings with Mr. R. Bax and others of your

staff at the conclusion of the inspection on February 26, 1993.

!

The inspection reviewed issues identified during the 1991 EDSFI, and selected

design changes and modifications.

Areas examined during the inspection are

identified in the report. The inspection consisted of a selective examination

l

of procedures and representative records, field walkdowns and interviews.

The

inspection concluded that progress was being made in resolving the EDSF1

issues.

No significant findings were identified in the design change or

nodification areas.

No violations of NRC requirements were identified during the course of this

inspection.
