NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION Mail Station P1-137 Washington, DC 20555 Gentlemen:

DOCKETS 50-266 AND 50-301 ADDENDUM TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE REOUEST 162, MODIFICATIONS TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS SECTION 15.1.3.A.3,

" COMPONENTS REOUIRED FOR REDUNDANT DECAY HEAT REMOVAL CAPABILITY" POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 On February 26, 1993, we submitted the subject Technical Specification Change Request.

During review of our submittal, we discovered that the phrase "in an 8 hour9.259259e-5 days
0.00222 hours
1.322751e-5 weeks
3.044e-6 months
period" had been inadvertently omitted from proposed Specification

15. 3.1. A. 3. a. (4 ) (a).

The proposed wording should read:

(a)

"All reactor coolant pumps and residual heat removal pumps may be deenergized for up ta 1 hour1.157407e-5 days
2.777778e-4 hours
1.653439e-6 weeks
3.805e-7 months
in an 8 hour9.259259e-5 days
0.00222 hours
1.322751e-5 weeks
3.044e-6 months
period provided:"

To resolve this discrepancy, we are forwarding revised Technical Specification page 15.3.1-2 along with the remainder of the pages previously submitted.

Please replace the Technical Specification pages included with our February 26, 1993, submittal with the attached pages.

Please note that our February 26, 1993, transmittal letter, safety evaluation, and no significant hazards consideration are consistent with the above wording.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Sincerely, Subscribed and sworn to pefore me this 94's day of 77he d,

, 1993.
