Dear Dr. Murley:
Reference (a provided clarification of the requirements to perform a Detailed Control Room Des)gn Review (DCRDR) pursuant to item 1.D.1 of reference (b). Th i
letter documents the completion of all modifications for Zion Station Unit 2 related to item 1.D.1 of NUREG-0737.
Commonwealth Edison Company's response to reference (a) for Zion Station identified the need to perform hardware modifications to resolve Human Engineering Discrepancies resulting from the DCRDR. References (c) and (d) provided the NRC safety evaluations of the Zion DCRDR work. The last of the DCRDR modifications were completed on Unit 2 during the recent refuel outage (Z2R12). Therefore, all necessary modifications related to item 1.D.1 of NUREG-0737 have been completed for Zion Station Unit 2.
