Letter, R. M. Rosenblum (SCE) to John B. Martin (NRC), EOF Ventilation System, September 11, 1992.
In our referenced letter to you dated September 11, 1992, Southern California Edison (SCE) stated that we would install exhaust side isolation dampers to allow isolation of the Emergency Operations Facility (E0F). The purpose of.
this letter is to inform you that the exhaust dampers have been satisfactorily installed. Subsequent testing has verified that the E0F is now capable of being fully isolated.
In aadition to the ventilation upgrade, we committed to conduct a special review of all commitments regarding the E0F. We have completed our review and have confinned all E0F commitments were completed as originally stated or a functionally equivalent method was used (i.e., a dedicated backup diesel was installed as a second power source in lieu of an additional offsite power source).
In summary, we believe we have met the intent of all E0F commitments made in previous correspondence.
