This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission administered examinations. led
by George T. Hopper during the week of January 25, 1993. These examinations
were administered to employees of your company who had applied for licenses to
,
operate your Oconee Nuclear Station.
At the conclusion of the examination,
the examination questions and preliminary findings were discussed with those
members of your staff identified in the examination report, Enclosure 1.

A Simulator Fidelity Report is included in this report as Enclosure 2.
A copy
of the Facility Comments regarding the written examination is included in this
'
report as Enclosure 3.
The NRC Resolt. tion of the Facility Comments is
included ar Enclosure 4.
A copy of the written examination questions and
answer key, as noted in Enclosure 5, was provided to members of the facility's
training staff at the conclusion of the exam.

The Generic Fundamental Examination Section (GFES) results for the last Oconee
'
examination were that two of two (100 percent) candidates passed in June 1992.
'
There was no participation from Oconee in the October 1992 examination.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of

this letter and the enclosures will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
