Dear Mr. MacDonald:
j The consolidated application for the renewal of Certificate of Compliance No. 9222 for the 14-215 Shipping Package was submitted to you by my letter dated January 26, 1993. This request for renewal-was made within the thirty (30) day requirement for timely renewal. Conversations with Mr. Withee of your staff has indicated the review of the application is in progress but it is expected not to be completed untjl after the February 28, 1993 expiration date of the certificate. To eliminate any concerns over the operation of this package after the expiration date we respectfully request a letter from your office which addresses the continued use of the package during the review cycle. We would also request that a copy of the letter be provided by Thursday, February 25, 1993 to allow us to distribute copies to the registered users of this package prior to the expiration date.
