ISSUANCE OF AMENDMENT NO.159 TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. NPF-1, TROJAN NUCLEAR PLANT (TAC NO. 75342)
The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.159 to Facility Operating-License No. NPF-1 for the Trojan Nuclear Plant.
The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application (LCA-178)datedNovember 13, 1989.
The amendment revises the Technical Specifications 3/4.7 ' Component Cooling Water (CCW) System" and associated Bases.
The CCW System operation is ievised from a split-train configuration back to the original licensed cross-connected configuration of operation, with one CCW pump serving both safety-related flow paths and the comon non-safety flow path.
A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Corriission's next regular biweekly Federal Register notice.
