Subject: NRC Region ! Inspection No. 50-213/90-04
This refers to the routine resident safety inspection conducted by
Mr. J. Shediosky and Ms. A. Asars of this office during the period
February 16, 1990 to March 27, 1990 at the Haddam Neck Plant, Haddam Neck,
Connecticut of activities authorized by NRC License No. DPR-61 and to the
discussions of our findings by Mr. Shediosky with Messrs. D. Miller and
G. Bouchard of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region ! Inspec-
tion Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," a copy of
this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC_ Public Document Room.
