UNIMPLEMENTED UNRESOLVED SAFETY ISSUES AT DAVIS-NUCLEAR POWER STATIb On October 19, 1989, thestaffissuedGenericLetter(GL)89-21which requested infarmation concerning the status of implementation of unresolved safety issues (USIs) at your facility. Based on your response to this GL, dated November 29, 1989, our review of Agency records and discussions between your staff and the NRC Project Manager, the NRC staff has compiled the enclosed lis.t representing our assessment of USI implementation. These results were presented to the Commission at a meeting on February la, 1990. to this letter presents the staff understanding of the current status of all unimplemented USIs for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.
The staff encourages your effort to complete the unimplemented USIs.
