UNIMPLEMENTED UNRESOLVED SAFETY ISSUES AT THE CALLAWAY PLANT l
On October 19, 1989, the staff issued Generic Letter (GL) 89-21 which requested information concerning the status of implementation of unresolved safety issues (USIs) at your facility.
Based on your November 22, 1989, response to this GL, our review of Agency records and discussions between your staff and the NRC Project Manager, the NRC staff has compiled the enclosed list representing our assessment of USI implementation as of February 14, 1990. These results were presented to the Commission at a meeting on February 14. to this letter presents the staff understanding of the status of all unimplemented USIs for the Callaway Plant as of February 14, 1990. The staff encourages your effort to complete the unimplemented USIs and acknowledges receipt of your March 16, 1990 letter responding to Generic Letter 89-19.
