i PLANT SYSTEMS 3/4.7.?L FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS FIRE SUPPRESSION WATER SYSTEM l

LIMITING CONDITION FOR OPERATION 3.7.12.1 The Fire Suppression Water System shall be OPERABLE with:

a.

At least three fire suppression pumps, each with a capacity of 1800 m, with their discharge aligned to the firo supprossion headt b.

Separate water supplies, each wf th a minimum contained volume of 200,000 gallons, and c.

An OPERABLE flow path capable of takirg suction from the fire water tanks and transferring the water through distribution alping with OPERABLE sectionalizing control or isolation valvet to the yard hy-drant curb valves, hose standpipes, the first valve upstream of the water flow alarm device on each sprinkler and the first valve upstre.am t

of the deluge valve on each Deluge or Spray System required to be OPERABLE per Specifications 3.7.12.2, 3.7.12.5, and 3.7.12.6.

APPLICABillTY: At all times.

ACTION:

a.

With one pump and/or one water supply inoperable, restore the inoper-able equipment to OPERABLE st.atus within 7 days or provide an alter-nate backup pump or supply.

The provisions of Specifications 3.0.3 and 3.0.4 are not applicable.

b.

With two pumps inoperable, establish a continuous fire watch of the turbine building with back-up fire suppression equipment within I hour.

The provisions of Specifications 3.0.3 and 3.0.4 are not applicable.

c.

With the Fire Suppression Water System otherwise inoperable, establish a backup Fire Suppression Water System within 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br />.

The trovisions of Specifications 3.03 and 3,04 are not applicable.
