This refers to the inspection conducted by P. C. Wagner of this office during
the period March 26-30, 1980, of activities authorized by NRC Operating

License NPF-42 for the Wolf Creek Generating Station, and to the discussion of
our findings with Messrs. J. Bailey and F. Rhodes along with other members of

your staff at the cone.lusion of the inspection.
The area examined during the inspection was the instrumentation calibration
program. Within this area, the inspection consisted of selective examination
of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and
l
observations by the inspector. The inspection findings are documented in the
enclosed inspection report.

Within the scope of the inspection, no violations or deviations were
identified.
We have also examined actions you have taken with regard to an industry
i
identified problem with electrolytic capacitors. The status of this iten is
discussed in paragraph 2 of the enclosed report.
