SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-327/90-06 AND 50-328/90-06

This refers to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection conducted by

K. Jenison on February 6,1990 thru March 5,1990.

The inspection included a

review of activities authorized for your Sequoyah facility. .At the conclusion

of the inspection, the findings were discussed with those members of your staff

,

identified in the enclosed inspection report.

Ireas examined during the inspection are identified in the report.

Within

these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures

and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of

activities in progress.

Strengths were noted during certain maintenance,

operations, and QA activities.

The enclosed Inspection Report identifies activities that appeared to violate

NRC requirements that are not cited; therefore, a response is not required.
