B. Ralph Sylvia Senior Vice President Nuclest Operations 6400 North Dixie Highway Newport, MI 48166 Centlement This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter of January 18, 1990, transmitting Revision 2 to the Permi 2 Radiological Emergency Response Preparedness Plan.

1 This revision was received in our office on January 22, 1990.

Changes to the Emergency Response Plan were primarily administrative in nature. We have reviewed the changes to the yermi 2 Radiologies.1 Emergency Response Preparedness Plan and determined that they are consistent with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.54(q) and do not decrease the effectiveness of the-emergency plan. These changes are, theretore acceptable.

In accordance with 10 CTR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
