The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 43 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-21 for Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 1, in response to your application dated November 21, 1989.
The amendment adds a requirement to Technical Specification Section 5.5 ret arding gadolinium loading in the spent fuel to ensure that the Keff of the spent uel pool is less than or equal to 0.90.
A copy of the related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The notice of issuance will be included in the Connission's bi-weekly Federal Register notice.
