Docket No. 50-219 Technical Specification Change Request No. 101' " ' i In accordance with 10 CFR 50.59 and 10 CFR 50.90 Jersey Central Power 6 Light Company, owner and operator of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Provisional Operating License No. DPR-16, requests changes to Appendix A of that license.
The subject Technical Specification Change Request involves Section 3.13 and the corresponding basis. This subject change request revises the requirements for the accident monitoring instrumentation.
The Technical Specification Change Request has been reviewed by the Plant Operations Review Committee and an Independent Safety Review Group in accordance with Section 6.5 of the Oyster Creek Technical Speci fi cations.
h'c have determined that this submittal is Class III per 10 CFR 170.22 and a check for $4,000.00 pursuant to that section will follow this submittal under a separate letter.

Section 3.13 and basis This change distinguishes between the requirements for relief valve position indicators and safety valves posi-tion indicators.
The justification for this separation is contained La the revised basis.

The requested thange is on the attached revised Technical Specification pages 3.13-1 and 3.13-2.

Discussion:
Section 3.13 cites the requirements for the Accident Monitoring Instrumentation.
The purpcse of this change is to separate the requirements for the relief valve position indicators from the safety valve position indicators.
