jf - 7f,1f Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station As per our telephone conversation on November 25, 1981, we are transmitting this memo confirming that our Cycle 10 Reload submittal for Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station will be analy cd on the basis of the latest GE methodology.
Current submittal, NEDO-24195 (see the attached letter dated March 9, 1981 to the NRC from Ivan R.
Finfrock, Jr. - JCPGL/GPU), does not incluoe Odyn methodology. The updated version of the NEDO-24195 which will be submitted in the second quarter of 1982 will be based on the Odyn approach.
Loss of Feedwater IIcating and Flow Controller Malfunction Causing Increase in Core Flow Rate transients are analyzed in NEDO-24195 using the latest conservative assumptions.
You also agreed that the questions generated by Mr. Wagner of the NRC concerning Loss of Feedwater, Feedwater Flow Increase and Increase in Steam Flow are no longer required to be answered.
