Gentlemen:
M On September ll, 1980,-San Diego Gas a Company (SDG&E)with-drew the construction pennit application for Sundesert 1 and 2.
Under 10 CFR Part 170, it is Commission practice to recover review costs 4
using the procedures of Footncte 3 to 10 CFR 170.21 when the review of the project is complete. The review of this project was completed as of December 22, 1980, the date that the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board i
Panel dismissed the proceeding. Accordingly, we have determined the actual expenditures incurred for. professional manpower-and contractual support '
services from the date'the application was filed to its date of withdrawal.
j Actual costs for Unit I were $978.103 and $8.677 for Unit 2. 'Under the Consnission's regulations, we limit the charge for' review to that which would L
be applied to the construction permit under 10 CFR 170.21 A.1..'that is,
$978.103 for Unit 1.and $8,677 for Unit 2.
$125,000 has already been paid i:
as an application fee. The balance due for the review of the construction permit application is as follows:
