'1) No response to'Q 010.39-Tor.nado. missile protection for ' essential service water cooling tower, diesel generator' exhaust stacks, spent fuel (building door) and main steam safety and ' relief valve stacks.

3.6.1-Pioe Break-Outside Containment -

2) No response to Q 010.40 Arrangement drawings and accompanying discussion, showing protection of safety related equipment from pipe breaks.

Inadequate response to Q 010.41 Applicant has not satisfactorily correlated the environ-ments resulting from pipe breaks with safety related equipment qualification.

9.1.4 Fuel Handling -

Inadequate response to Q 010.43 Applicant has not addressed consequences of dropping of the' fuel handling building crane load block onto spent fuel. Also, applicant shall address concern of dropping of loads lighter than a fuel assembly on spent fuel.

9.2.2 Component Cooling Water -

5) Unacceptable response to Q 010.44 Applicant _to provide safety grade. indication of loss of CCW to the RCPs.

9.3.3 Equipment and Floor Drainage -

10) Inadequate response to Q 010.50 Protection of' safety related equipment from failure (flooding) in circulation water system has not been satisfactorily demonstrated.

10.4.7 Main Feedwater &' Condensate -

11) Inadequate response to Q 010.51 Applicant to' commit to a waterhamer test per NUREG-CR/1606.

10.4.9 Auxiliary Feedwater -

14). Applicant to provide a-third AFW pump.to meet 10 10-5 safety criteria in loss of offsite power.

15) Tech. Specs needed for ' dedicated AFW pump diesel driver oil

_ supply. Need evaluation of time AFW pump can operate with the 500 gallon supply, 16)' Endurance (test required on'the nonessential AFW pumps.
