On October 23, 1981, the Division of Licensing (DL) issued Amendment No. 25 to License No. DPR-45 for the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor which approved your application dated September 12, 1980. This amendment consisted of changes to the Technical Specifications relating to the use of the tem " operable" and to TMI-2 Category "A" Lessons Learned requirements as requested by DL's letters dated April 10 and July 2,1980. A Class II fee of $1,200 was remitted with your application because you detemined that these changes had no safety or.
environmental significance.
As a result of the DL staff's final fee analysis of your application, they have detemined that the Class II fee paid is appropriate for the operable change.
However, they hava detemined that those changes relating to Lessons Learned were more than a&ainistrative or pro forma in nature and, as such, require a Class III fee of $4,000. On this basis, it is requested that you submit an additional sum of $4,000 to our office to complete payment for your September 12 application.
