This refers to an investigation conducted by Region III during the period
January 12 to October 9, 1981, of construction activities at the Wm. H. Zimmer
Nuclear Power Station authorized by NRC Construction Permit No. CPPR-88.
The report setting forth the results of the investigation is enclosed.
A separate letter setting forth the items of noncompliance found during the
investigation has been sent from the Office of Inspection and Enforcement.
Your response to those items should be made directly to that office.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice, "Part 2,
Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the enclosure
will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
