Dear Mr. Madsen:
This letter is to provide an update on the investigation of the nonconforming Rockbestos cable which was delivered to the Wolf Creek Generating Station Unit No. 1 site as described in the Referenced Report.
Since the

1 Report was issued it has been determined that some of the affected cable has been installed in safety related systems.
Deficiency Reports will continue to be used to document the affected cable tntil a final engineering disposition is available.
The rc -test results of representative sample specimens have been submitted to the Architect / Engineer for their evaluation and disposition. The results of this evaluation will be reported to your office on or before March 26, 1982.
