National Marine Fisheries Service Participation in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Environmental Review of the Seabrook Station On December 1-2, 1981 the Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will visit the Seabrook Station. This visit is part of the review process for preparing the environmental impact statement related to a recently tendered application for an operating license. It is of primary importance that all relevant environmental interests are given proper consideration during this review.
To support that objective, the National Marine Fisheries Service is invited to attend this visit and provide input to the staff that identifies any specific ittms of environmental interest that should be included in the review.
The plan for the visit is for a site tour the first day to make observations of conditions where the Seabrook plant and related structures have an interface with the surrounding environment. On the morning of the second day, there will be a meeting with the applicant for discussions of areas of interest that have developed during an Environmental Report acceptance review and the tour the preceding day.
The National Marine Fisheries Service may have areas of interest that are in common with the interests of other agencies. An invitation similar to this one is also being forwarded to:

New Hampshire Water Supply and Pollution Control Commission, Concord, N.H.
