Reference is made to your letters of August 28, 1981 and September 3, 1981 and recent telephone conversations between members of your staff and Mr. Rentschler regarding changes in physical protection require-ments resulting from reductions in special nuclear material inventories.
We have reviewed the infomation contained in these letters and agree that the changes to the current physical protection plan reported in the September 3,1981 letter do not decrease the effectiveness of the plan.
Therefore, pursuant to 10 CFR 70.32(e) these changes shall be filed with the plan.
It har Seen detemined that the Texas Instruments letter dated September 3, 1981 contains infomation of a type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d). According-ly, it is deemed to be comercial or financial infomation within the meaning of 10 CFR 9.5(a)(4) and shall be subject to disclosure only in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 9.12.
