OF PLANT OPERATIONS 10/1 to 10/10 Continued plant shutdown due to damaged L.P. turbine.

10/11 1600 Began draining RCS to maintenance level for gasket replacement on OTSG's manways.

10/16 Completed work on OTSG's.

0100 Commenced refilling RCS.

2230 Completed RCS fill and venting.

24 0040 Reactor in heat-up mode.

10/25 0632 Reactor in hot shutdown.

MAJOR ITEMS OF SAFETY-RELATED MAINTENANCE 1.

Replaced fuel oil filter on "A" Diesel Generator.

Conducted eddy current test of tubes in main condenser.

Adjusted packing for SFV-460:4, Reactor Building CCW Supply isolation Valve.

Replaced 0-rings, adjusted lock-up velocity, tested and reinstalled snubber ISW-21025-6.

5 Reworked, tested, and installed snubbe-ISW-21006-6A.

Rebuilt accumulator, replaced valve block and poppet stop plug of snubber SS-16.

7 Machined and installed new bearing retainer for NSCW pump motor.

Tested rebuilt governor for "A" Diesel Generator per EM.191.

MAJOR ITEMS OF SAFETY-RELATED MAINTENANCE (Continued) 9 lnstulled new coupling on "B" Boric Acid Pump, P-705B.

Replaced seal and bearings on "B" Decay Heat Pump, P-261B.

Changed filters on "B" Diesel Generator.

Replaced torque switch and st roked SFC-22025, Letdown Common inlet Valve.

13 Cleaned pilot and seat and drained water f rom ai r line of SFV-46206, CCW Return Isolation Valve.

14.

Meggered cables for Make-up Pump supply breaker 4A02 and found to be okay.

15 Stroked SFV-20577, OTSG Auxiliary Feedwater Valve Bypass manually and then operated electrically in both directions with no problems.

16.

Installed rebuilt governor on "A" Diesel Generator.

17 Inspected lube oil coolers E-239C, E-237B, and E-239C.

18.

Strengthened pipe supports PS-13, PS-25, and PS-26.

19 Cleaned-lube oil cooler E-239C.

20.

Removed, disassembled, reassembled lube oil cooler E-239D. Coated cooler heads with Plasite.

Silver soldered unions into lines and inspected.

21.

Removed motor from make-up pump P-236M.

22.

Installed new torque pack on SFV-22025, Letdown Common inlet Valve, and repacked.
