Dear Mr. Denten:
The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, acting en its own behalf and as agent for Toledo Edison, Ohio Edison, Duquesne Light and Pennsylvania Power, is filing herewith three originals plus 60 copies of Amendment 5 to the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) for the Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2.
Also fewarded with this lecter are required copies of revised drawings ref-erenced in Section 1.7 of the FSAR.
This Amendment incorporates the resolution of questions asked by the Core Performance Branch and Quality Assurance Branch along with some miscellanecus hanges to keep the FSAR up to date.
The Amendment is in a format designed to keep current the license cpplication and FSAR.
Please insert the revised Amendment 5 material dated November 3, 1981, into the Final Safety Analysis Report as per the attached Amendment 5 Instruction Sheet.
