Enclosed, under separate cover, are 10 and 50 mile radius USGS maps for your facility. These maps are being sent for your use.
Please ensure that one of each of the 10 and 50 mile maps are located in the Technical Support Center and Emergency Operating Facility.
Identical maps are being sent to the State of Ohio, Ohio Disaster Services Agency and Ohio Department of Ilealth, ard FE11A Region V, and the site inspector for their use.
Enclosed is a procedere for using these maps.
At the present time, these maps cost $200.00 each. Efforts are underway to cut these costs substantially.
Please contact us if additional copies are needed.
The NRC Incident Response Centers in Washington and Glen Ellyn are also equipped with these maps.
It is our intent that all parties involved in an emergency will use these mapa and thus avoid any confusion.
