Dear Mr. Seyfrit:
The referenced report identified two violations related to an inability to retrieve certain licensee records as required by the Fort Calhoun Station Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
In Omaha Public Power District's response to these violations, dated September 4,1981, the District committed to implementing a Records Management System (RMS) for maintenance of all Fort Calhoun Station QA records, with the schedule for implementing the RMS to be provided later. This letter provides that schedule.
The District is presently conducting the final acceptance tests on the RMS. Necessary staffing and hardware for full implementation is authorized and the District expects to begin entering records into the system on a trial basis by November 15, 1981. The District will start entering Fort Calhoun Station QA rec 9rds by January 1,1982 at the latest. This effort will include current and past QA records. By June 30, 1982, the District will have all QA records coded and entered into the RMS. At that time, the District will be in fu'l compliance with existing QA procedures.
