We wish to express our support for the licensing of the San Onofre Nuclear Power Generatin6 Stations. We live in the San Diego area and have seen our electicity bills double and criple in the past several years. Our utility (San Die 6o Gas & Electric) explains that the high costs are due to its ove. -reliance on oil for 6enerating power.

The power 6enerated by reactors is much cheaper and their safety record is much better than for conventional plants.

Consequently, 've7 ant to see more reactors in operation for '

the 6ood of the population as well as the environment of this

county,
