Post Office Box 840 . 39 Denver, CO 80201 % ic IM \\ Gentlemen: This letter refers to the August 31-September 4,1981, routine inspection conducted by Ms. C. Abigail Evans of NRC's Region IV Office. The activities inspected were those that are authorized under NRC License DPR-34. It further refers to the discussion that she had with you concerning her findings at the conclusion of the inspection. The inspection related to your program and activities designed to protect against industrial sabotage and to safeguard special nuclear material. Tne inspection was based on the applicable provisions of Title 10, Part 50 of the Code of Federal Regul3tions entitled " Licensing of Production and Utilization Facilities," within Part 73 entitled " Physical Protection of Plants and Materials," and the specific requirements of HRC License DPR-34. The inspection consisted of se'iective examinations of procedures and records, personnel interviews, and observations by the inspector. No violations of HRC requirements, within the scope of this inspection, were identified. The documentation of findings of your control and accounting procedures for safeguarding special nuclear materials and your facility's security proce- dures are exempt from disclosure. This exemption is covered within Title 10 CFR, Part 2.
