MOTIQN TO POSTPONE NRC LICENSING EXAMINATIONS PENDING COMPLETION OF REOPENED HEARINGS.
The Aamodts hereby move that the NRC operator licensing examinations of TMI,1 operators and operator candidates be postponed during the pendency of these reopened hearings, er:til such uime as the Atomic Safety and Licensing c.
Board concl' des:
I a.
that NRC testing procedures, are adequate; b.
that Licensee certification procedures are adequate; c.
that training augmentation ecmplies with the intent of the August 9, 1979 Commission order; and
- d. that the content of the NRC Licensing examinations is adequate 1.
The Aamodts further move that simulator examinations be required as a.
part of the licensing. examination when they are given, as required industry-4 wide.after October 1, 1981.
Failure to prevent examination for licenses prior to the'resolation of these issues would by any standard render these proceedings a mockery.
