Results of Visual Inspection of Piping and Piping Supports
REFERENCE:
Confirmary Action Letter, J. G. Keppler to C. Reed, dated October 9, 1981
Dear Mr. Keppler:
Pursuant to Item 2 of the referenced letter, on October 16th we have completed the required visual inspections for both units and have found no significantly degraded or damaged piping or piping supports. The systems inspected are as follows:
- 3) Stand-By Liquid Control (SBLC)
- 4) Core Spray
- 5) Diesel-Generator Service Water
- 6) Control Rod Drive 7)
Isolation Condenser
- 8) Reactor Water Clean-Up (RWCU)
I.E.Bulletin 79-14 inspection criteria formed the basis for all our walkdowns except for the RWCU system. There, we extended our inspection to include piping up to the pressure control valve PCV 2(3)-1217.
Based on the results of our inspection, we feel we have complied with_ Item 2 of the Confirmary Action Letter.
