.g Company have for some months been actively involved in negotiations concerning ICL's participation in the Waterford 3 operating license proceeding. Recently, ICL and LP&L executed a Stipulation (copy attached) wh?.h reflects that ICL's concerns, as evidenced in its f
contentions, are met, and that LCL will withdraw all of its contentions I
and withdraw as a party to this proceeding on the basis of information exchanges with LP&L, and on the basie of commitments by LP&L to ICL i
regarding the construction of transmission lines on the Waterford 3 site '
and the establishment of a nuclear oversight committee (in addition to j.
those required by NRC) upon which ICL will have one member.

Accordingly, LCL withdraws its contentions and withdraws as a
