This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. D. Skov of this office on September 11. 1981 of activities authorized by NRC License No. 04-09951-03 and to the discussion of our findings held by Mr. Skov with Colonel Pavik and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted under your license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Connission's rules and regulations and the conditions of your license. The inspection consisted of selective exuinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personn and observations by the inspector.
I During this inspection, it was found that certain of your activities appeared to be in noncompliance with NBC requirements. The items and references to the pertinent requirements are listed in Appendix A.
These items have been categorized into severity levels as described in the Federal Register Notice (45 FR 66754) dated October 7,1980.
Your response to this notice is to be submitted in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.201 as stated in Appendix A, Notice of Violation.
