SUMMARY

OF 0?ERATING EXPERIENCES Highlights Vermont Yankee operated at 94.1% of rated thermal power for the month.

Gross electrical generation was352,951 MWH or 90. 7% of design electrical capacity.

Operating Summary The following is a chronological description of plant operations including other pertinent items of int ~erest for the month:

9/1/01 At the beginning of the reporting period the plant was operating at 99.7% of rated thermal power.

9/5/81 At 0300 hrs. a power reduction was initiated to investigate high

9/5/81 At 2300 hrs. a return to full power was initiated.

9/6/81 At 1630 hrs. a power reduction,was initiated to invetigate a steam leak.

9/6/81 At 2350 hrs. a return to full power was initiated.

9/13/81 At 0000 hrs. a power reduction was initiated for main turbine and control rod surveillance.
