The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 79 to Provisional Operating License No. DPR-21 for the Millstone Unit No. 1 plant. The amendment consists of changes to the Technical Specifications in response to your application dated September 16, 1980, as revised in discussions with your staff.
The'chinges relate to TMI-2 Lessons Learned Category "A" requirements.
These requirements concern (1) Emergency Power Supply / Inadequate Core Cooling, (2) Valve Position Indication, (3) Containment Isolation, (4)
Integrity of Systems Outside Containment, (5)' Iodine Monit6 ring, and (6) Shift Technical Advisor.
Copies of our Safety Evaluation and Notice of Issuance are also enclosed.
