Gentlemen:
f Your letters dated April 9 and July 15, 1981, provided snubber surveillance Technical Specifications for your Cooper Nuclear Station in response to an HRC letter dated Hovember 20,1980. These letters were filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR), and each remitted a Class Il fee of $1,200.00 for a total of $2,400.00 -(Check Nos. 04-N628 and 07-N608).
Your July 15 submittal stated that no additional fees were being remitted because Clads II fees were paid with the April 9 application. However, we did receive an tJditional Class II fee with your July 15 submittal.
Based on infomation provided by the ONRR staff as a result of a preliminary review of your April 9 and July 15 submittals, it has been determined that your snubber surveillance application will involve consideration of a single safety issue. On this basis, e Class III fee of $4,000.00 is -
applicable in lieu of the two Class II fees which you paid. Therefore, it is requested that your company remit an additional sum of $1,600.00 to this office. If the ONRR staff's final review of your soplication

reveals that this fee is not correct, you will be notified and any necessary fee adjustments will be made.
