We agree in principle with your provisions for " temporary storage of containers of low level material in portions of the facility parking lot" as described in your August 3,1981 letter.
Please provide a descrihtion of your safety program covering control of contamination of packages being moved to the parking lot storage area, a description of your program to protect the stored containers from the weather, and a description of your surveillance program for contamination control and weather protection for stored packages.
In addition, please provide a definition of "tenporary storage" and provisions for long tem storage if the material cannot be transferred for disposal within the time limit for temporary storage.
