o I an writing you to let you know of ny opposition to the opening of' l
the Diablo Car 0*cn : uclear Po';er Plant. My reasons for this stance are as follows:
(1) because of the expense of the plant itself - it has increased in expense grec.tly from its original cost.
(2) due to the location of the plant - in close proximity to an earthquake fault.
(3) because the noney used to run this plant could be put to noro productive use, such as solar a:ti vind power, which are not nearly as great a threat to the environnent.
I urge you not to license this plant, taking into consideration the above concerns which are shared by a great number of U.S. citizens (and fellow world inhabitants.
