Perry Nuclear Power Plant Docket Nos. 50-440; 50 l.41 Repairs to Motor Control Centers [RDC 17(80)]
Dear Mr. Keppler:
As discussed with Mr. L. McGregor of your office on September 24, 1981, the final repairs on the motor control centers supplied by Cutler-Hammer are now scheduled to be completed on December 1,1981.
While the corrective action outlined in our letters dated March 9,1981, and May 29, 1981, remains the same, additional nonconforming starter units have been identified.
These units had been inspected by Cutler-Hammer but were not among the sample of 200 inspected by PNPP inspectors. We have now decided to inspect all starter units not previously included in the PNPP inspection sample for proper wiring and terminal blocks.
