Dear Mr. Keppler:
This letter is submitted in regard to our March 20, 1981 response to IE Bulletin No. 80-25, Operating Problems With Target Rock Safety Relief Valves at BWR's (12/19/80).
In response to Items 3 and 4 of that bulletin we stated, in part-l J.s an added precaution, however, an annunciator will be provided which will warn the control room operators of either high or low pressure in the N2 supply system.
Addition of de annunciator for high/ low nitrogen system pressure as described in Item 3 above will be completed within six months of this response, contingent upon receipt of necessary parts.
Completion of this modification will be reported as required by Item 4 above.
The modification for addition of the annunciator module to the control room was not prepared in time to complete the work on the original schedule.
It is our intent to complete this modification by November 15, 1981.
Notification will be made upon completion of this modification.
