Request for Additional Information ' South de'xas Project Thy Hydrologic and Geotechnical Engineering Branch has identified a number of questions that must be addressed prior to completion of its review of your operating license applications. The specific questions are listed in Enclosure 1 to this letter.
Your response to these questions should be in the form of an amendment to your FSAR. You are requested to provide your response within 90 aavs of receipt of this letter.
If you cannot meet that date, please advin us what date you can meet.
In addition, I am including as Enclosure 2 the Structural Engineeri ng Branch position relative te resoluti n of the soil structure interaction isst.e.
This is the guidance that was promised to Houston Lighting and Power Carpany at the August 7,1981 meeting. You are requested to perfom the appropriate analysis and provide the results to NRC by January 15, 1982.
